CHILD DEVELOPMENT MINISTRY Surrounded by the disadvantaged community, Deliverance Church Uganda responded by encouraging churches under her oversight to practically try to meet the needs of their communities in as much as it is in their power and their ability. Nsambya DC has responded by enlisting 240 children aged 5 to 12 years and in partnership with M/S Compassion International ministers to these children physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually to develop them into useful citizens of the nation and of the Kingdom of God. They take one child from each identified needy family irrespective of the family’s faith. |

The emerging challenge is that families are in object poverty and have more than one child in need and eventually the assisted child appears more privileged at all levels than other members of the family. Nsambya DC is thinking through this scenario seriously. |
